Most industrial coating work in Northern Nevada leaves the region. Parts go to California or further, add a week each way in freight, and come back with a certificate from someone the buyer has never spoken to. Dry Tech has been coating parts from Mound House since 2000, which means a local manufacturer can drop parts off, talk to Matt or Greg about the application in person, and collect them without a freight leg in either direction.

That proximity matters most on the first job, when the coating specification is still being worked out and a same-week sample run beats three weeks of emails.

The manufacturing base around Reno, Sparks, Carson City and the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center covers a lot of ground, and the coating problems repeat.

What we apply here

Everything in the shop is available to local work on the same terms as shipped work: Teflon™ coatings in PTFE, PFA, FEP and ETFE; solid film lubrication including the Everlube and Lube-Lok ranges; the specialty systems on our high-performance coatings page; and hard masking so the coating lands only where the drawing says it should. All of it is thermally cured and inspected batch by batch.
