Our story

The Journey of dry tech corporation

Founded in August 2000, Dry Tech has established itself as a frontrunner in the coating industry, specializing in dry lubrication and Teflon coating solutions across a spectrum of applications. From the automotive sector to and bespoke manufacturing components, our mission has always been to provide unparalleled quality and innovative coating solutions that enhance durability, efficiency, and performance. 

In July 2022, Dry Tech embarked on a new chapter under the leadership of the Benson Brothers, Matthew and Greg, who bring a unique blend of technological innovation and financial acumen to the forefront of the business.
Matthew Benson

Matthew's expertise stems from a solid foundation in accounting, having graduated from East Carolina University in 1992 and becoming a CPA in 1994, Matthew was the tax manager for Halt, Jackson and Thrasher in Alexandria Virginia until moving west in 2000 joining the public accounting firm David & Johnson in Lake Tahoe. In May 2008 Matthew left public accounting to join Benson Brothers Racing full time.
Greg Benson
Vice President
Greg's journey into the realm of technology began at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Telecommunications Engineering. His formative years saw him contributing as a researcher and technology reviewer at the Rochester Institute of Technology Research Center, followed by a pivotal role as a network administrator. Greg's expertise deepened through his tenure at IBM in Gaithersburg, Maryland, where he served as an Internet backbone hub designer before transitioning to AT&T, further honing his skills in system design. In December 2004, alongside his brother Matthew, Greg co-founded Benson Brothers Racing (BBR), marking the inception of an entrepreneurial journey that would lead to the acquisition of Dry Tech.

Together, Matthew and Greg share a 50/50 ownership in both Dry Tech and BBR, LLC, bringing their distinct backgrounds and shared ethos to propel Dry Tech towards groundbreaking achievements.
