TEFLON
COATING.

PTFE, PFA, FEP, and ETFE fluoropolymer coatings — one of the most effective ways to prevent galling, cold welding, and seizure on stainless steel components.

What it actually does

When applied as a coating and thermally cured, PTFE bonds to the substrate at the molecular level and creates a durable low-friction barrier that keeps metal from contacting metal. The result: stainless steel fasteners far less likely to seize, bearings that wear more slowly, and assemblies that come apart cleanly after extended high-temperature service.

CURE TEMP

Where it works best

  • Stainless steel fasteners — bolts, threaded rod, nuts. Dramatically reduces galling on first installation and on subsequent disassembly.
  • Bearings and bushings — brass, bronze, stainless. Reduces friction to extend service life dramatically.
  • Automotive components — AC pistons, fuel injectors, springs. PTFE handles the thermal cycling and chemical exposure.
  • Industrial hardware — slide gates, hinges, guide rails. Smooth operation without messy lubricants.

The right formulation matters

We don't just apply "Teflon™." We apply the specific formulation engineered for your application — PTFE for the lowest friction, PFA for flexibility, FEP for easier processing, ETFE for abrasion resistance, or the industry-standard 958G-313 one-coat system for high-volume production work.
